Custom Outings is a small family run business in San Benito, Texas. We are involved in
several aspects of customized guiding both in Texas and Mexico. We operate a Bed and
Breakfast in San Benito.
We have been involved in Mexico since 1967. We owned and operated a cattle ranch for 13
years in the state of Tamaulipas. Our children were born in Mexico. Over the years we have
learned the customs of the people and the area well and feel qualified to show you a safe
and fun time across the border.
Custom Outings offers fun and bountiful guided trips mostly in the Northeastern section
of Mexico. We have enjoyed guiding small groups on trips such as:
1. Antique shopping in colonial Mexico
2. Birding in the Sierra Madres
3. Butterflying from the high desert to the low coastal plains
4. Palm and plant trips
5. General exploring
6. Sea shelling on remote beaches
